Glycol Distearate

Glycol Distearate is used as a pearlising agent or opacifier for emulsions and surfactant formulations. 

It has a melting point of 58-64 degrees Celsius. As it cools it will recrystallise to form a turbid or pearlescent structure providing a luxurious appearance to your hand wash, shampoo or cream formulation.

Usage level: Usually 2-10%
